Welcome to my blog!  This is my inaugural entry on the new CPM Resource Center (CPMRC) website – if you have not searched every page on this new site please do!  The CPMRC website is filled with key information about our company and our award-winning consortium.  You will find valuable whitepapers, case studies, quality and safety updates, ARRA/Meaningful Use information, and more as it relates to what you must be aware of as a healthcare leader.

Life as a Chief Professional Practice Officer is one that consists of a daily mission to transform healthcare by understanding the essentials of true and sustainable transformation.  My blog, Meaningful Transformation, will share:

In addition, I will update and link you to the exciting work that we are doing within Elsevier’s Clinical Decision Support division.  The significant progress that we have made in our efforts to seamlessly combine health information technology and clinical decision support is having a tremendous impact on outcomes and (dare I say it?) we are on the verge of being able to transform healthcare in ways we have never imagined.  My latest blog on the Elsevier Clinical Decision Support ARRA Resource Center addresses the fact that, for all of the work that is being done right now to have any sustainable impact in the future, it will have to be “all about partnerships”.

Lastly, I must say that a blog about meaningful transformation could not have come at a more “timely” time.  This month, I transitioned into the “next decade” of my life and celebrated that significant (and sobering:) milestone in France.  This time in my life calls me to embark on a new meaningful transformation of my own and to share my daily mission with the world, by leveraging this wonderful blogging technology, my connections, and by sharing all of the lessons I am learning along the way with all of you.  So….welcome to my blog and I welcome your partnership and comments along the way.
